Today, high temperatures reached the upper 60s to lower 70s across
most of western and north central Nebraska. Skies were partly
cloudy. Winds became northerly this morning, generally between 10
to 20 miles per hour, with gusts in excess of 35 miles per hour
this afternoon.

Tonight, lows will fall into the mid to upper 30s across the
Panhandle, with temperatures in the lower 40s across the Sandhills
and eastward. Skies will become more cloudy overnight, with a
slight chance of rain showers across the Sandhills. Winds will
generally be light, around 5 to 10 miles per hour, with variable
directions, eventually becoming northerly following a weak surface
boundary crossing the region.
