...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Barnwell, Bamberg and southwestern Orangeburg Counties through 1230
PM EDT...

At 1154 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Barnwell State Park, or near Barnwell, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Barnwell, Bamberg, Denmark, Blackville, Rivers Bridge State Park,
Ehrhardt, Hilda, Rowesville, Olar, Kline, Cope, Govan, and Bamberg
County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EDT for central South
Carolina.
