Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
351 PM EDT Thu May 2 2024

.DISCUSSION...Light winds remain southeasterly through the evening,
veering to the southwest Friday morning as a warm front lifts into
SE MI and veering again to the northwest in the afternoon as a cold
front tracks through. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be
possible in the morning with renewed development possible in the
afternoon- evening as the cold front drifts across the area. MinRH
values Friday and Saturday of 55 to 65 percent reflect the humid
airmass that will be in place, although drier weather is anticipated
for Saturday.
