.SYNOPSIS...Typical springtime weather is forecast with warm,
dry, and breezy conditions persisting through the weekend.

&&

.DISCUSSION...Quasi-zonal flow over Arizona will continue to produce
dry conditions across the region, with typical breezy conditions
expected each afternoon through the weekend. Temperatures will be
around 10 degrees above normal through the weekend.

An open wave trough will approach the southern California coast
early next week. This should increase the winds across northern
Arizona Monday through Wednesday next week. However, dry conditions
should persist. As the trough gets closer to the region,
temperatures should start decreasing by a few degrees by the middle
of next week.

&&

.AVIATION...Thursday 18/18Z through Friday 19/18Z...VFR conditions
will prevail through the period. BKN upper-level clouds will become
FEW-SCT overnight, becoming FEW on Friday. Expect west-southwest
winds, 10-20 kts, each afternoon, becoming light and variable
after 03Z.

OUTLOOK...Friday 19/18Z through Sunday 21/18Z...VFR conditions
will persist through this weekend with SCT high clouds. Afternoon
winds will become west-northwest, 15-25 kts, on Saturday,
followed by southwest winds, 10-20 kts, on Sunday.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...Friday through Saturday...The mild and dry pattern
will continue across northern Arizona through Saturday. High and
low temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above average will persist each
day along with afternoon humidity as low as 10 to 15% and moderate
recoveries at night. Winds will remain breezy, 15 to 20 mph, each
day from the west.

Sunday through Tuesday...Temperatures will warm gradually for
next week with high pressure in place. Afternoon humidity will be
in the 10 to 15% range each day with southwest winds, 15 to 25
mph. The weather pattern looks to become unsettled after Tuesday,
