Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Over the past 24 hours, the Tri State region has seen daytime
highs top off in a range from the upper 60s into the lower 70s.
Lows during this time ranged in the mid 40s to lower 50s. Showers
around the area brought a wide range in totals from a few
hundredths to almost a half inch in some spots. Winds gusted
during the day into the 40 to 50 mph range.

OUTLOOK... The region will see chances for severe thunderstorms
this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds, large hail and even
some tornadoes are possible. Locally heavy rainfall may also
cause some flooding concerns. Showers and storms are possible
Sunday before tapering off. Dry conditions with near to above
normal warmth for next Monday and Tuesday, with low chances for
more showers and storms from next Wednesday onward.
