...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20
nm...
Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20
nm...

At 900 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Long Beach to Little River Reef, moving east at
45 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Little River Offshore Reef, Sherman Wreck, Little River Reef,
Lockwood Folly Inlet Sea Buoy, A R 445, Cape Fear Sea Buoy, Shallotte
River Inlet Sea Buoy, Caswell Beach, and Bald Head Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
