The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Columbus County in southeastern North Carolina...
  Northern Horry County in northeastern South Carolina...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 745 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fair Bluff,
  or 12 miles east of Mullins, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chadbourn, Fair Bluff, Williams, Cherry Grove, Clarendon, and Cerro
  Gordo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office
