.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will diminish from the
west during this morning, with isolated showers near the Wabash river
this afternoon. Winds will turn northeast at 5 to 15 mph today after
the passage of a cold front. Dry weather is expected tonight and Saturday
morning, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing during mid
and late Saturday afternoon. Southwest winds of 5 to 15 mph on Saturday
will turn northwest late Saturday afternoon west of the IL river as a
cold front moves eastward into the state. Fair to poor ventilation rates
are expected today and Saturday across central and southeast IL.
