...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...

  Owyhee River Below Wildhorse affecting Elko County.

.High mountain snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause
the river flows to become high. Minor flooding downstream from the
dam is possible in the coming days.

For the Owyhee River...including Wildhorse...elevated river levels
are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 700 AM PDT.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR A DAM FLOODGATE RELEASE REMAINS IN EFFECT
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Elevated river flows caused by snow melt and upstream dam
  releases are expected.

* WHERE...Owyhee River below Wildhorse.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, Flood stage; minor flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 3.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 3.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to rise and may
    reach minor flood stage Saturday afternoon or evening.
  - Action stage is 3.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 3.5 feet.
