...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by heavy rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Florida, including the following
  counties, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 214 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already
    caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Destin, Eglin AFB,
    Milton, Valparaiso, Mary Esther, Bagdad, Ocean City, Lake
    Lorraine, Navarre, Shalimar, Cinco Bayou, Navarre Beach,
    Longwood, Wynnehaven Beach, Eglin Village, Parkerville and
    Harper.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
