The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 511 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northwest
  of Movico, or 8 miles east of Citronelle, moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mount Vernon, Calvert, and Movico.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
