...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Breezy southerly to southeasterly winds continue into Thursday.
Coastal drizzle is expected to return Tuesday night into Wednesday
with widespread stratus spreading over coastal areas and extending
inland. Winds will become gustier and transition north to
northwesterly Thursday through Saturday as a low pressure system
moves inland on Thursday. This system brings a slight chance for
isolated showers producing drizzle to light rain across portions of
the Bay Area. Coastal ranges may potentially see wetting rains with
totals around 0.1 inches. Elsewhere, wetting rains are not expected
through the rest of the Bay Area. Temperatures will stay cooler
through Friday before a slight warming trend begins over the
weekend.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the interior this
afternoon, mainly in Trinity county. A cooling trend will start
today with additional cooling Wednesday. Drastically cooler
interior temperatures, rain and high mountain snow will return
Thursday through Friday. Additional showers and below normal
temperatures are expected through the weekend.
