height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A coastal low pressure trough
along the N and central California coast will continue to weaken
tonight, then strengthen again Sat night through Sun night. A
weakening cold front will move across the northern California
waters tonight into Sat. The coastal trough will persist over the
N and central areas Mon and Mon night while gradually becoming
weaker through Tue night and drift south over the central
California waters. A high pressure ridge will build in across the
region late Sat into Sat night, then persist to the N and NW of
the region Sun and Sun night while gradually weakening. Another
area of high pressure will build in from the W and NW Mon and Mon
night, then persist through Wed night.
