.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather will persist into early afternoon. Then showers and
thunderstorms are forecast to progress eastward across the area
from late this afternoon into tonight. There`s a chance that
scattered showers and thunderstorms may redevelop mainly east of
Interstate 57 on Wednesday as a cold front passes through. The
passage of a stronger cold front brings another chance of showers
and thunderstorms late Thursday into Thursday night. Mainly dry
and cooler conditions are expected by Friday and the weekend.
Good transport within a deep mixed layer will promote very good
to excellent dispersion today and Wednesday.
