...Scheduled Maintenance for Several NOAA Weather Radio
Transmitters Tonight...

Routine maintenance on several NOAA Weather Radio transmitters
overnight from 1200 AM to 600 AM EDT will result in the
transmitters being off the air at various times during the
overnight hours. This maintenance will affect the following NOAA
Weather Radio transmitters within the Blacksburg, VA National
Weather Service Forecast Office NOAA Weather Radio coverage area:

WXL60 - Roanoke, VA,
WZ2500 - Wytheville, VA,
WZ2543 - Richlands, VA,
WNG588 - Jefferson, NC.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. During this
time frame, you may use alternate NOAA Weather Radio sites to
obtain National Weather Service weather information. You can find
additional information about NOAA Weather Radio on our web page
located at: https://www.weather.gov/rnk/NWRInformation.

All of these radios are expected to be returned to normal
broadcasting after 600 AM EDT Friday morning.
