The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Shannon County in south central Missouri...
  Southern Dent County in south central Missouri...
  Southeastern Texas County in south central Missouri...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1239 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 14 miles east of Raymondville to near Summersville
  to near Mountain View, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Current River State Park, Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Echo
  Bluff State Park, Montauk State Park, Winona, Birch Tree, Eminence,
  Summersville, Montier, Montauk, Turtle, Teresita, Jadwin, Midridge,
  Darien, Arroll, Gladden, Alley Spring, Hartshorn, and Round Spring.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
