.DISCUSSION...A weak cold front will begin to drop into northern Utah
this afternoon, creating some cumulus buildups near the burn. We can`t
rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm, but the probabilities are
just under 15%, just under the threshold to appear in the forecast
below. On Tuesday, the cold front is forecast to settle over central
Utah, and as a result we carry about a 30 percent chance for showers
and thunderstorms over/near the burn site, especially in the afternoon,
with a low chance for showers in the morning. The front remains in the
vicinity on Wednesday, with similar chances for showers and thunderstorms
as well. By Thursday and Friday, high pressure is forecast to build over
the state, bringing dry, stable conditions as well as a warming and
drying trend.
