...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch for North and Central Georgia has been
cancelled. Although the soils across north and central Georgia remain
at or near saturation, the chances for widespread heavy rain have
temporarily diminished. Local areas of heavy rain will still be
possible today through tonight, however widespread flood issues are
not anticipated.

With the forecast path of Subtropical Storm Alberto likely to begin
impacting the region later in the weekend through the beginning of
next week, the potential for more widespread heavy rain may be on
the increase once again by Sunday through the middle of next week.
