...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN AITKIN AND NORTHERN PINE COUNTIES...

At 648 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms continued to move across northern Pine and southeast
Aitkin Counties. The rainfall was not as heavy as earlier this
morning but it will continue for at least another hour, through
8 am. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Radar estimates 3 to as much as 5 inches of rain have fallen. If you
observe any flooding, call local law enforcement and ask them to
relay it to the National Weather Service.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sandstone, Willow River, Askov, Rutledge, Bruno, Mcgrath, Cloverton,
Duxbury, Sturgeon Lake, Finlayson, Denham, Grindstone Lake Pine
County, Arthyde, Dads Corner, Banning State Park, and Markville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
