Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW Idaho and SE Oregon
National Weather Service Boise ID
754 AM MDT Tue May 22 2018

...Continued threat of showers and thunderstorms next few days...

.DISCUSSION...
An upper low over Southern Nevada slowly lifts northward this
afternoon bringing a continued threat of showers and
thunderstorms to mainly the higher terrain of Southern Idaho. Less
coverage is expected across Northeast Oregon. The airmass remains
fairly moist and winds aloft weak, so heavy rains are possible
near thunderstorms through Wednesday. A brief upper ridge builds
over Idaho Thursday but another low moving into the coast could
bring the potential for additional thunderstorms over Oregon with
the potential for heavy rain and small hail.
