Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Arizona

144 AM MST Thu Apr 26 2018

+++ Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds +++

+++ 20-foot wind forecast of `light winds` indicates mainly
    terrain driven winds +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

.DISCUSSION...Dry and warm condtions continue through Thursday
with light winds. A slight increase in moisture on Friday will allow
scattered high-based thunderstorms to develop over the White
Mountains, with isolated storms possible as far west as Flagstaff
and the Grand Canyon. Most storms will remain dry with gusty winds.

.Saturday through Monday...The chance for high-based thunderstorms
will continue Saturday over Navajo and Apache Counties with drier
conditions elsewhere. Breezy southwest winds will develop over the
weekend with areas of critical fire weather condtions possible,
mainly along or north of the Mogollon Rim.
