Water levels can be expected to fall but still are a little high
on the Coldwater River and Tallahatchie in north
Mississippi and on the Hatchie River in west Tennessee.


At 9 AM Friday, the stage on the Hatchie River near Bolivar was 14.1
feet and falling. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

At 9 AM Friday, the stage on the Hatchie River at Rialto was 13.5
feet and falling. Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

At 9 AM Friday, the stage on the Coldwater River at Marks was 38.4
feet and steady. Flood stage is 39.0 feet. At 38.0 feet, Low lying
agriculture land begins to flood.

At 9 AM Friday. The stage on the Tallahatchie at Lambert was 31.4
feet and falling. Flood stage is 32 feet.

The next River Statement will be issued when conditions warrant.
