Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Low pressure will lumber across the Carolinas tonight before
turning northward toward New Jersey on Wednesday. Periods of
beneficial light to moderate rain will continue tonight. Some
showers will hang around for Wednesday, but it will not be a
washout as drier air begins to filter in.

High pressure will return briefly on Thursday, but another low
pressure system developing in the southeastern states may affect
the region Thursday night into Friday.
