Storms continued in Southern Minnesota overnight with heavy rain,
small wind, and strong winds. Most of the activity was confined to
areas between Windom and Taylors Falls. Elsewhere, a mild night
occurred with above normal low temperatures.

Temperatures today are expected to rise into the mid 80s low 90s.
Thunderstorms are anticipated to develop again this afternoon and
continue into the late evening. There is a slight chance for severe
weather in Southeastern Minnesota with the main concerns being wind
and hail. Storms may continue in Eastern Minnesota through early
Saturday morning. After that, dry conditions are expected through
Sunday afternoon before rain and storm chances return. Otherwise,
the holiday weekend will be hot with highs in the 80s and 90s.
