...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms near Bonney, or 12 miles northwest of Angleton, moving
southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms. 1 to 2
inch per hour rainfall rates will create localized flooding of low
lying areas and roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Manvel, Arcola, Iowa Colony, Bonney, southeastern Sienna
Plantation, Brazos Bend State Park, Juliff, Damon and Rosharon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
