.DISCUSSION...

An occluded front is pushing through the area today with showers
and steady rain generally south of I-95 corridor. Expecting areas
north and west of I-95 to experience just light occasional showers
given the drier surface conditions. Winds will gradually shift west
this afternoon into the evening behind the front generally less than
20 mph. Much drier air is located behind this front so expecting
afternoon relative humidity to drop into the upper 30 to near 40%
range. RHs will recover into the 50-60% range tonight with winds
increasing after dark behind the departing front. Total rainfall
generally less than 0.2 inch.
