454 PM EDT Wed Apr 17 2024

Periods of rain and a couple of thunderstorms are expected across
Pennsylvania into the evening hours tonight. A few thunderstorms
may reach severe limits and produce locally heavy rainfall across
the far western portion of the Keystone State later this evening.
Low temperatures overnight will range from the mid 40s in the
northeast to the mid 50s everywhere else.

Early day clouds, light rain, and drizzle over the central and
eastern parts of the Commonwealth will give way to a mostly cloudy
and warmer day on Thursday with a low chance of a rain shower in
spots during the afternoon. High temperatures on Thursday will
range from the upper 40s in the extreme northeast corner of
Pennsylvania to the lower 70s in southern portions of
Pennsylvania. Low temperatures overnight will range from the lower
40s in the east to the lower 50s in the west.

Another round of rain will arrive on Friday followed by a cool
down and drying trend over the weekend. Chilly nights are forecast
on Saturday and Sunday with minimum temperatures cold enough to
pose a frost and freeze risk.
