Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
223 PM CDT Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Although humidity will tick slightly higher today, afternoon
minimum relative humidity could still fall below 30%, currently
in the 30-35% range, with southerly winds around 10-15 mph.
Neither elevated nor critical fire weather concerns are ongoing,
but dry & breezy conditions may bring a limited concern through
the aftn hours. Returning humidity may result in some patchy or
areas of fog development over southeastern portions of Mississippi
late tonight into Wednesday morning & again across southern half
of fire districts Wednesday night.
