FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.5 inches will move across Quebec Canada today.
Brisk northwest winds are expected. High pressure of 30.6 inches
will move into Iowa today and into the Ohio River Valley on
Thursday. Southwest gales are possible Thursday afternoon and
night, over northern portions of Lake Michigan. Another low
pressure around 29.5 inches will slide through northern Ontario,
Canada on Friday, with the associated cold front tracking across
Lake Michigan Friday night. Gales may occur over the entire lake
Friday into Friday night.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest late in the
morning, then increasing to 30 kt early in the afternoon
increasing to gales to 35 kt late. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest gales to 40 kt diminishing to gales
to 35 kt. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
