FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Gusty northerly winds will make their way down Lake Michigan this
evening in the wake of a cold front associated with low pressure
around 30.0 inches over southern Ontario, Canada. High pressure
of 30.4 inches will move through the Missouri River Valley and
settle into Arkansas Tuesday night, with low pressure of 29.8
inches moving across the northern Great Lakes. Gusty west winds
are expected later Tuesday into Tuesday night across the lake. A
few gales will be possible during this time.

Brisk southerly flow will return to Lake Michigan for later
Thursday into Friday night, as high pressure of 30.6 inches moves
into New England and low pressure of 29.5 inches develops over the
northern Great Plains. Southerly gales look possible during this
time.

20 kt. Scattered snow showers through early evening, then slight
chance of snow showers overnight. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to
10 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west 10 to 15 kt
late in the morning, then increasing to 15 to 25 kt early in the
afternoon becoming southwest to 30 kt late. Slight chance of snow
showers. Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to
8 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...West winds to 30 kt becoming northwest. Chance
of snow and rain showers in the evening. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming east
10 to 15 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt becoming south to 30 kt.
