FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.3 inches will develop in the area today,
strengthening to 30.5 inches and moving eastward across Lake
Michigan on Friday. Winds will decrease today and be light on
Friday.

Strong low pressure of 29.5 will move from the panhandles of
Texas and Oklahoma northeastward to northern Lake Michigan Sunday
morning, strengthening to 29.0 inches. Strong winds are expected
to develop late Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Easterly gales
are likely Saturday night, shifting to the northwest on Sunday.
There is a risk for storm force wind gusts Sunday and Sunday
night.

.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 kt becoming south. Waves 1 to

.SATURDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming east. Chance of
snow and light freezing rain in the morning, then rain likely
with a chance of snow in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft.

30 kt. Rain and snow. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft.
.SUNDAY...Northwest gales to 45 kt becoming west. Snow and rain.
Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft building to 8 to 12 ft
occasionally to 16 ft.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt.
