OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.2 inches over the central Great
Lakes will weaken and south of Lake Michigan through Monday. Low
pressure of 29.6 inches over the Northern Plains will move into
Ontario by early Monday, and into southern Quebec by Monday
evening. A cold front trailing from this low will push southeast
across Lake Michigan late Monday and Monday night, eventually
stalling just south of the lake Tuesday. High pressure of 30.2
inches will spread across Ontario and the northern Lakes Tuesday
night while the front remains stalled just south of the lake. Low
pressure will then develop across the Plains mid-week, deepening
to 29.6 inches and lifting to the northern Lakes by late Thursday.
The stalled front will lift north as a warm front across the lake
ahead of this low.

9 ft.
