National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
850 AM CST Mon Nov 19 2018

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

West winds will become northerly today as weak low pressure of
30.1 inches over northern Lower Michigan drags a front down the
lake. The winds will pick up later today and into tonight as a
high pressure area of 30.4 inches moves through the Missouri
River Valley. That high will settle into Arkansas Tuesday night,
with low pressure of 29.8 inches moving across the northern Great
Lakes. Gusty west winds are expected later Tuesday into Tuesday
night across the lake. A few gales will be possible during this
time.

Brisk southerly flow is then expected to return to Lake Michigan
for later Thursday into Friday night, as high pressure of 30.6
inches moves into New England and low pressure of 29.5 inches
develops over the northern Great Plains. Southerly gales look
possible during this time.
