FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.5 inches over north central Iowa will move into
northern lower Michigan tonight, then into eastern Ontario
Thursday. This will bring increasing east to southeast winds into
early this evening, veering south to southwest later tonight.
Gusty west to northwest winds are expected behind the departing
low Thursday, becoming north Thursday night into Friday. Some
gales are possible in the southern half of Lake Michigan during
this time. High pressure of 29.8 inches will then linger over
Wisconsin Friday night into Saturday, bringing lighter winds for
the weekend.

dense fog in the evening, then patchy fog overnight. Rain showers
with a chance of thunderstorms this evening, then chance of rain
showers and slight chance of thunderstorms overnight. Waves 3 to 5
ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northwest. Patchy fog
in the morning. Chance of rain showers in the morning, then
slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming north to
30 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12
ft.
.FRIDAY...North winds to 30 kt. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to
12 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 kt becoming northeast 10 to
20 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming north. Waves
