FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.6 inches over the Central Plains will move into
far southeast Minnesota late this afternoon while deepening to 29.4
inches. This will bring increasing east to southeast winds over the
lake today. The low will move across central Wisconsin to northern
Lake Michigan tonight, with southerly winds developing over the
lake. Gusty north to northwest winds are expected behind the
departing low Thursday night into Friday night.

thunderstorms this afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 25 kt veering to southwest 10 to
20 kt. Patchy fog. Rain showers with a chance of thunderstorms in
the evening, then chance of rain showers and thunderstorms
overnight. Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to
9 ft.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northwest. Chance of
rain showers in the morning. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft
subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt.
Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft building to 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.FRIDAY...North winds to 30 kt. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to
12 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
