FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.2 inches centered near the southern tip of
James Bay will push into Quebec tonight while deepening to 29.0
inches. This low will very slowly move across Quebec on Saturday.
Meanwhile, high pressure of 30.3 inches will move south from
Saskatchewan into the Dakotas by Saturday morning, and strengthen
to 30.5 inches as it moves into northern Missouri Saturday night.
West to northwest winds will gust to around gale force through
the night tonight, and then increase to gales between 35 and 40
knots Saturday into Saturday evening.

Winds will become southwesterly on Sunday as high pressure
continues south into eastern Kentucky. Low pressure of 29.8 inches
will push across Ontario on Monday, dragging another cold front
across the lake.

.SATURDAY...Northwest gales to 35 kt. Chance of rain showers in
the morning, then chance of rain and snow showers in the
afternoon. Slight chance of waterspouts in the afternoon. Waves 7
to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft building to 8 to 12 ft occasionally
to 16 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft subsiding to 4 to
7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest 15 to 25 kt.
