FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

A cold front will move across Lake Michigan this afternoon, as
low pressure of 29.9 moves from Lake Superior to southern Lower
Michigan.

South to southwest winds will become a little gusty ahead of the
cold front today, with a few gusts around 25 knots. West to
northwest winds are expected behind the front.

Another cold front will move southeast through the region later
Thursday into Thursday night. Gusty northwest winds are expected
behind the frontal passage Thursday night into Friday, with some
gales possible Friday.

High pressure of 30.4 inches will then move from the northern
Plains into the western Great Lakes region Friday into Saturday,
bringing gradually weaker winds.

chance of rain showers overnight. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to
2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt backing to southwest.
Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to
