FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.6 inches over southern Ontario this afternoon
will continue to shift east away from the area. The gusty
northerly winds begin to subside this evening has high pressure of
30.0 inches passes to the south tonight shifting winds to the west
and southwest.

Southerly winds will then pick back up later Friday into Friday
night ahead of another approaching low. Showers and storms are
possible for the northern half of the lake Friday into Saturday.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west 10 to 15 kt.
Waves 2 to 4 ft subsiding to 1 to 3 ft.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 30 kt late in
the morning, then becoming south early in the afternoon
increasing to gales to 35 kt late. Chance of showers in the
morning, then showers likely with slight chance of thunderstorms
in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest gales to 35 kt diminishing to 30 kt
late in the evening, then becoming southwest to 30 kt after
midnight becoming west 15 to 25 kt late. Showers likely in the
evening, then showers overnight. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to
12 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northeast. Showers
likely in the morning, then chance of showers in the afternoon.
Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 kt increasing to 10 to
20 kt. Chance of showers. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 kt. Chance of showers in the
morning. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
