FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.5 inches will move from central Illinois to
the Ohio River Valley today. Southwest gales are expected this
afternoon and tonight over the northern half of Lake Michigan.
Low pressure around 29.3 inches will move through northern
Ontario on Friday, with the associated cold front moving across
Lake Michigan Friday night. Southwest gales are expected ahead of
the front on Friday, with northwest gales into early Friday
evening behind the front. The gales may linger into Saturday
night. High pressure of 30.4 inches will move from North Dakota
into Missouri Saturday and Saturday night.

.TONIGHT...Southwest gales to 40 kt diminishing to 30 kt. Waves
7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding to 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.FRIDAY...Southwest gales to 35 kt increasing to gales to 45 kt.
Chance of showers. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft
building to 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 kt becoming northwest to 30 kt.
Chance of rain showers. Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft
