FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.2 inches over the central Plains today will
move slowly into central Illinois and Indiana on Friday. Gusty
northwest to north winds are expected across the lake today,
before gradually weakening tonight. Southwest winds will then
increase Friday into Friday evening.

A cold front will then move south across the lake later Friday
night into Saturday morning. This will bring the next chances for
showers and thunderstorms. High pressure of 30.1 inches over the
region Saturday night into Sunday should then bring lighter winds.

.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 kt increasing to 10 to 20 kt
late in the morning, then increasing to 15 to 25 kt early in the
afternoon increasing to 30 kt late. Waves 1 to 2 ft building to
3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming west 10 to
15 kt overnight. Chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
evening, then chance of thunderstorms overnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 15 kt increasing to 10 to 20 kt.
