FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

A surface ridge of 30.2 inches over Wisconsin will move across
Lake Michigan by the middle of the day today. Thus decreasing
northwest winds are expected this morning followed by increasing
southerly winds for the afternoon. A passing wave of low pressure
of 29.6 inches and cold front will then shift winds back out of
the north/northwest by early afternoon Sunday, with light variable
winds expected late Sunday night into Monday. Gusty southerly
winds are then expected to return by Tuesday over the open waters
with gales becoming more likely Tuesday into Wednesday.

.TODAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming west 10 to 20 kt
late this morning, then becoming southwest 10 to 15 kt early this
afternoon becoming south 10 to 20 kt late. Waves 3 to 5 ft
subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to 25 kt late
in the evening, then increasing to 30 kt after midnight becoming
southwest late. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.SUNDAY...West winds 15 to 25 kt veering to north 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 kt diminishing to 5 to
10 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.MONDAY...East winds 10 to 15 kt becoming southeast. Waves 1 to
3 ft.
