FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Brisk northwest winds will continue into early evening across the
lake. High pressure of 30.5 inches will move into the southern
Great Lakes tonight and Mid Atlantic on Thursday. As winds become
southwesterly on Thursday, gales are likely Thursday afternoon
and night over northern portions of Lake Michigan. Another low
pressure around 29.3 inches will slide through northern Ontario
on Friday, with the associated cold front tracking across Lake
Michigan Friday night. Southwest gales are possible ahead of the
front on Friday, with northwest gales possible Friday night into
Saturday behind the front.

.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southwest 15 to 25 kt
late in the morning, then increasing to gales to 35 kt early in
the afternoon increasing to gales to 40 kt late. Waves 2 to 4 ft
building to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest gales to 40 kt diminishing to 30 kt.
Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding to 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt.
Chance of showers. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft building
to 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 kt becoming northwest to 30 kt.
Chance of rain showers. Waves 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft

.SATURDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Rain showers likely in the
morning, then chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Waves 6 to
