FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.4 inches will remain over eastern Oklahoma and
Arkansas tonight, with low pressure of 29.8 inches moving across
the northern Great Lakes. West winds will increase into this
evening, with frequent gales to 35 knots, especially over the
eastern half of the lake.

Brisk southerly flow will return to Lake Michigan for later
Thursday into Friday night, as high pressure of 30.7 inches moves
into New England and low pressure of 29.5 inches develops over
the northern Great Plains. Southerly gales look possible during
this time.

Chance of snow in the morning, then slight chance of snow in the
afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 3 to
5 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt veering to
southeast 10 to 15 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.

25 kt. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
