FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

A weak low pressure trough of 30.2 inches was over the eastern
Great Lakes and will continue moving off to the east today.
Meanwhile, high pressure of 30.7 inches over the Central/Southern
Plains will drift into the Great Lakes region Wednesday. Winds
will remain northwest through tonight, becoming southwest on
Wednesday. The southwest winds will then increase Wednesday night
into Thursday, strongest across the northern half of the lake
where a few gale force gusts will be possible.
