SOUTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND AND SOUTHEASTERN BARREN COUNTIES THROUGH 230
PM CDT...

At 203 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles south of Glasgow to 13 miles north of
Red Boiling Springs to 7 miles north of Lafayette. Movement was east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tompkinsville, Burkesville, Leslie, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Meshack,
Gum Tree, Blythe, Harlan Crossroads, and Ellington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
