THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
      Limited Hail Risk...up to 1 inch size.
  Limited Flooding Risk.
  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is a chance for isolated thunderstorms over the area
tonight. The main threat from these storms will be moderate
to occasionally heavy rainfall, which could  produce some
localized flooding. Some of the stronger storms tonight could
also produce hail and locally strong wind gusts. Strong
onshore winds and high waves may produce localized flooding
or water and spray reaching roadways in northeastern Illinois
near Lake Michigan

  Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

  Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
  Limited Snow, freezing rain and Sleet Risk.

  Limited Snow and/or Sleet Risk.
Wednesday...
  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The chances for thunderstorms will continue on Saturday, and some
of these could be strong across central Illinois. Colder air will
filter into the area by late Sunday and Sunday night which may
support a short period of a wintry mix of precipitation near the
Wisconsin border before tapering off to light snow.  Light
accumulation is possible.

Strong northeasterly winds, with gusts to 45 mph are also expected
over northern Illinois Saturday. Some wind gusts to 50 mph are
possible along the lake shore.

High waves and strong onshore winds over southern Lake
Michigan on Saturday may produce localized flooding or water
and spray reaching roadways in northeastern Illinois near
Lake Michigan
