Much of the Mid-South will experience a wetting rain overnight with a general lull in showers and thunderstorms on Monday. Additional thunderstorms will affect the area Tuesday and Wednesday, some of which may be severe. Gusty south winds are also expected Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of the next cold front.
