...High Risk of Rip Currents Atlantic Beaches...

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Rip currents: There is a high risk of rip currents across all
Atlantic Coast beaches.

Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across
interior portions of Southwest Florida through this evening.
Lightning and locally gusty winds are possible with any thunderstorm
activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Sunday.

An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place across the
Atlantic Coast beaches through the rest of the week and into the
upcoming weekend.

Isolated thunderstorms will continue to be possible through the
middle of the week mainly across interior portions of Southwest
Florida during the afternoon and evening hours.

Temperatures will increase in the mid to late week period with
peak heat indices around or over 100 degrees across portions of
the area Thursday through Saturday.

Relative humidity will drop into the 20-30% range for interior
locations of South Florida late-week leading to enhanced fire
weather conditions.
