...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HYDE AND
SOUTHEASTERN DARE COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 912 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles west of Avon to 7 miles northwest of
Hatteras Ferry Terminal to near Portsmouth Village. Movement was east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Frisco, Buxton, Avon, Hatteras Ferry Terminal, Ocracoke Ferry
Terminal, Ocracoke Lighthouse, Avon Pier, and Cape Hatteras
Lighthouse.
