Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
308 PM MDT Tue Mar 26 2024

.Discussion...

Scattered rain and snow showers will diminish this evening, with
only some isolated flurries over the mountains and light rain
over the far southeast plains after midnight.

Dry conditions are expected Wednesday through Saturday for most
of the district, with a chance for isolated showers along the
mountains. More widespread precipitation returns to the district
starting Sunday and Monday, with the greatest chances for
precipitation over the mountains.

Spotty critical fire weather conditions will begin to develop
over mainly the plains on Friday, with slightly better chances
for critical conditions over the weekend as winds increase.

Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach good to very good
levels at most locations on Wednesday and Thursday, as mixing
heights increase.
