.THE 2019 SPRING SEASON WAS COOLER THAN NORMAL WITH NEAR NORMAL
PRECIPITATION AT DULUTH MN...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE SPRING SEASON WAS 38.1 DEGREES WHICH
WAS 0.2 DEGREES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 39.0 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST
TEMPERATURE FOR THE SPRING WAS 82 DEGREES ON MAY 29TH. THE LOWEST
TEMPERATURE FOR THE SPRING WAS -19 DEGREES ON MARCH 4TH. NO MONTHLY
TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE BROKEN THIS SPRING.

THE SPRING OF 2019 WAS NEAR NORMAL FOR PRECIPITATION WITH A TOTAL
OF 7.25 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION RECORDED FOR THE SEASON. THIS WAS

TOTAL OF 13.3 INCHES OF SNOW. THIS BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 8.1
INCHES IN MAY OF 1954.

THE AVERAGE WIND SPEED FOR THE SPRING WAS 10.4 MPH. THE HIGHEST
SUSTAINED WIND OCCURRED ON APRIL 11TH WITH A SPEED OF 45 MPH OUT OF
THE EAST. THE HIGHEST PEAK WIND GUST OCCURRED ON APRIL 11TH
WITH A SPEED OF 58 MPH OUT OF THE EAST NORTHEAST.

THERE WERE 2452 HEATING DEGREE DAYS FOR THE SPRING WHICH WAS 53
ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 2399. THERE WERE 0 COOLING DEGREE DAYS FOR THE

EARLY JUNE AND WARM TO THE UPPER 70S BY MID JULY. BY THE END OF
AUGUST NORMAL HIGHS COOL TO THE LOW 70S. NORMAL LOWS START THE MID
40S AND WARM TO THE MID 50S BY EARLY JULY. BY THE END OF AUGUST
NORMAL LOWS COOL TO THE LOW 50S. NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE SUMMER
IS 11.78 INCHES. THE LATEST CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER OUTLOOK
INDICATES THAT THERE IS NO CLEAR INDICATION FOR ABOVE OR BELOW
PRECIPITATION AND ODDS ARE TILTED TOWARD BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.
